With years of hands-on experience in tailoring and clothing repairs, I look at every garment as a unique puzzle waiting to be solved. Whether it’s resizing a vintage evening dress to fit like a glove, repairing a well-loved piece of clothing, or handling complex alteration requests, my goal is always the same—to provide meticulous, high-quality craftsmanship that makes you feel confident and comfortable in what you wear. 

On this blog, I will be sharing my favorite "Before & After" transformation stories, giving you an insider’s look into the alteration process, and sharing practical textile care tips that you can use at home.

The Vibrant World of Fluid Art

When I am not at the sewing machine, you will find me in my art studio surrounded by acrylic paints and canvases. Fluid art allows me to break free from structural boundaries and explore emotions through color, movement, and organic patterns. Inspired by the beautiful nature around us—like the deep blues of the Colorado wild columbines—each fluid art piece I create is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

In the "Art Gallery" section and through my regular posts, I will guide you through my creative journey, sharing the behind-the-scenes process of acrylic pouring, color mixing tips, and the inspiration behind each custom artwork.

That belief guided us through this deeply personal and detailed redesign project. Our bride came to us with a classic strapless gown that, while lovely, felt a bit bare for the elegant, graceful look she dreamed of. Inspired by her vision, we carefully deconstructed the ornate lace from the lower hem of the gown and transformed it into custom-designed shoulder appliqués. These lace motifs weren’t just embellishments—they became poetic flourishes that embraced the bride’s neckline and shoulders with a softness reminiscent of fine art. The delicate embroidery followed the natural curve of her form, elevating the silhouette with romantic sophistication. Mending Magic: From Broken to Beautiful

Step 1: C hoose a Well-Loved Garment Find a favorite sweater, cardigan, jacket, or pair of jeans with a hole, tear, or worn-out area. Wash the garment first and carefully trim away any loose threads. Step 2: Gather Your Materials Prepare the basic supplies you'll need: Embroidery needle Colorful embroidery floss or sashiko thread Fabric patch (optional) Embroidery hoop (optional) Small scissors Having everything ready will make the repair process smoother and more enjoyable. Step 3: Strengthen the Damaged Area If the hole is large, place a small fabric patch behind it for extra support. This helps stabilize the fabric and creates a strong foundation for stitching.
